Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
Thank you for using MasterAi!
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you use the services of MasterAi S.R.L.S. or our affiliates, including our software, mobile application, tools, websites, and related services (collectively, “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Services.
1. Generative Artificial Intelligence — Important Disclosure
MasterAi is a service that uses generative artificial intelligence to produce game master narratives, character interactions, and immersive role-playing content. By using the Services, you acknowledge and accept the following:
- The Services rely on AI to generate text responses based on your prompts and game state, and to generate illustrations of scenes and characters during play
- AI-generated content is provided for entertainment purposes only. It may occasionally contain inaccuracies, biases, factual errors, or unexpected outputs.
- AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice of any kind (legal, medical, financial, psychological, educational, or otherwise). You should not rely on it for real-world decisions.
- You should not enter sensitive personal data, financial information, health information, credentials, or other confidential information into AI prompts.
- MasterAi makes reasonable efforts to monitor and moderate AI output but cannot guarantee that all output will meet your expectations or be free from objectionable content.
This disclosure is provided in compliance with Article 50 of EU Regulation 2024/1689 (AI Act).
2. Registration and Access
(a) Age requirement. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. The Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow under-13 users to register. Minors between 13 and 17 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Services. In jurisdictions where the digital age of consent under data protection law is higher than 13 (e.g., 14 in Italy, up to 16 in some EU Member States), users below that local threshold must obtain verifiable parental consent.
(b) Account information. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
© One person, one account. Each user is entitled to a single account. Creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated welcome bonuses, evade restrictions, or manipulate the Services is prohibited (see Section 5 below).
(d) Acting on behalf of others. If you use the Services on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
3. Usage Requirements
(a) License. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, MasterAi grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. We and our affiliates retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services.
(b) Feedback. We welcome feedback, comments, and suggestions for improvements. If you provide them, we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.
© Restrictions and Prohibited Uses. You may not:
- (i) use the Services in a way that infringes, misappropriates, or violates any person’s rights, including intellectual property rights;
- (ii) reverse assemble, reverse compile, decompile, translate, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying components of the models, algorithms, and systems of the Services (except to the extent such restrictions are contrary to applicable law);
- (iii) use output from the Services to develop AI models that compete with MasterAi;
- (iv) misrepresent AI-generated output as human-generated, or vice versa, in a manner that violates applicable law or our policies;
- (v) buy, sell, or transfer access credentials without our prior consent;
- (vi) submit personal data of children under 13 (or under the applicable digital age of consent in your jurisdiction);
- (vii) attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, content safety filters, or fraud prevention mechanisms;
- (viii) use automated tools (bots, scripts, scrapers) to interact with the Services without prior written authorization;
- (ix) use the Services in geographies not currently supported by MasterAi.
(d) Strictly Prohibited Content. You may not use the Services to generate, request, attempt to generate, distribute, or facilitate any of the following content, regardless of your age or stated consent:
- (i) Sexual content involving real or fictional minors (CSAM) — including any depiction, description, or suggestion of minors in sexual, sexualized, or suggestive contexts. This is prohibited absolutely, with no exceptions, and will trigger immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable;
- (ii) Sexually explicit content — pornographic content, explicit sexual acts, or graphic sexual imagery, whether involving real or fictional persons;
- (iii) Non-consensual intimate imagery — sexualized or intimate depictions of any real, identifiable person without their explicit consent, including but not limited to “deepfakes,” digitally undressed images, or sexualized alterations of real photographs;
- (iv) Sexualized impersonation — content that sexualizes or eroticizes real public figures, celebrities, private individuals, or any identifiable person;
- (v) Content that incites violence, hatred, or discrimination — based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
- (vi) Content that promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders — including methods, encouragement, or glorification;
- (vii) Content that facilitates illegal activities — including drug trafficking, weapons manufacturing, terrorism, fraud, hacking, or other criminal conduct;
- (viii) Content that violates privacy — disclosure of personal information of others without consent, including doxxing, stalking, or harassment;
- (ix) Disinformation campaigns or election manipulation — coordinated inauthentic behavior, fake news at scale, or content designed to interfere with electoral processes;
- (x) Content that infringes intellectual property rights — including unauthorized reproduction of copyrighted works, trademarked content, or trade secrets;
- (xi) Defamatory, harassing, or threatening content — directed at any individual or group;
- (xii) Content harmful to minors — beyond CSAM as defined in (i), including grooming behavior, content designed to attract or harm minors, or any content that endangers children;
- (xiii) Spam, scams, or commercial solicitation — outside the legitimate use of the Services.
Violation of these prohibitions will result in immediate and permanent account termination without refund, may result in reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities, and may give rise to civil and criminal liability for the user. MasterAi reserves the right to monitor, review, and remove any content that violates these prohibitions, and to cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
The above prohibitions apply regardless of any consent the user may claim, regardless of any age declaration, and regardless of whether the content is intended for personal or shared use. The mere act of attempting to generate prohibited content through the Services is itself a violation of these Terms.
(e) User-generated content (prompts). You are responsible for the prompts you submit and for any content you generate using the Services. You retain whatever rights you may have in your prompts under applicable law. You grant MasterAi a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to process your prompts as necessary to operate, provide, maintain, and improve the Services, and to generate, store, reproduce, adapt, display, and commercially exploit the illustrations and other output generated in connection with them, including in physical or digital merchandise. You represent that your prompts do not infringe any third-party rights.
(f) AI-generated output ownership. Subject to compliance with these Terms and the terms of our AI providers, you may use the AI-generated output produced through your interaction with the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes within the game environment. Illustrations and other visual assets generated by the Services are produced and owned by MasterAi, and are made available to you within the game environment under the licence granted in Section 3(a); where MasterAi enables their download or sale in physical or digital form, such use is governed by the terms presented at that time. MasterAi makes no warranty regarding the originality or copyrightability of AI-generated output, and you acknowledge that similar output may be generated for other users.
(g) Third-party services. The Services rely on third-party providers for certain functions (including but not limited to generative AI providers, cloud infrastructure, payment processing via Google Play, and advertising via Google AdMob). Your use of the Services is also subject to the applicable terms of these third parties where they are presented to you. MasterAi is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.
4. Fees, Payments, and Refunds
(a) Fees and billing. You will pay all fees (“Fees”) according to the prices and terms displayed in the application or on the applicable pricing page. Subscriptions are processed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play’s billing terms. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. You authorize MasterAi and its third-party payment processors (including Google Play) to charge your payment method for the Fees.
(b) Subscription auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in accordance with Google Play subscription rules. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.
© EU consumer right of withdrawal (14 days). If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction granting equivalent rights, you have the right to withdraw from a subscription contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason, pursuant to Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. To exercise this right, contact us at [email protected] before expiry of the 14-day period.
Important exception: by purchasing a subscription and immediately starting to use the welcome tokens or any consumable game content delivered as part of that subscription, you expressly request the immediate execution of the contract and acknowledge that — pursuant to Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU — your right of withdrawal is forfeited as soon as the digital content is supplied. This is a standard practice for digital services with immediate delivery.
(d) Other refunds. Outside the EU 14-day right of withdrawal described above, refund requests are handled in accordance with Google Play refund policy (typically requestable within 48 hours of purchase via Google Play). For exceptional circumstances, contact [email protected].
(e) Taxes. Unless otherwise stated, Fees are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law. You are responsible for any taxes that are your responsibility.
(f) Price changes. We may change our prices by posting notice in the application or on the website. Price increases will be effective no sooner than 30 days after they are posted, and you will have the right to cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
(g) Welcome Bonus and Virtual Tokens. (i) Nature of tokens. MasterAi provides users with in-app virtual tokens that may be used to access certain features of the Services. Tokens are virtual items with no monetary value, no cash equivalent, and no exchange value outside the Services. Tokens do not constitute currency, credit, property, or any form of financial instrument. Tokens cannot be transferred, sold, traded, gifted, or exchanged for real money, goods, or services outside the application. (ii) Welcome bonus. New users receive a one-time promotional welcome bonus of 250 tokens upon first registration. The welcome bonus is a non-binding promotional incentive offered at MasterAi’s sole discretion: MasterAi reserves the right to modify, reduce, suspend, or discontinue the welcome bonus at any time, for any reason, without prior notice and without any compensation to users. The welcome bonus is not part of any paid subscription and does not confer any contractual right to tokens beyond the initial allocation. (iii) One welcome bonus per person. The welcome bonus is granted once per person, not once per account. Creating multiple accounts (whether using different emails, devices, or identities) in order to obtain the welcome bonus more than once constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in: (a) denial of the welcome bonus on subsequent accounts; (b) suspension or permanent termination of all affected accounts; © forfeiture of any tokens improperly obtained; (d) refusal of future service. (iv) Anti-abuse mechanism. To enforce the one-bonus-per-person rule, MasterAi operates a privacy-preserving fraud prevention mechanism that retains a pseudonymized cryptographic hash of the email address used at the time of account deletion, for up to 12 months, solely to detect repeated welcome bonus claims by the same email. By using the Services, you acknowledge and accept the existence and operation of this mechanism, as described in detail in our Privacy Policy, Section 13. (v) Loss of tokens upon termination. Tokens, whether obtained through the welcome bonus, earned in-app, or purchased via subscription, are non-refundable upon account deletion or termination for breach of these Terms, except where mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise (see Section 4© for EU 14-day right of withdrawal). Tokens have no value outside the Services and cannot be reclaimed in any form once an account is terminated.
5. Fraud Prevention and Account Integrity
To protect the integrity of the welcome bonus system and prevent abuse, MasterAi implements a privacy-preserving fraud prevention mechanism. When a user deletes their account, a pseudonymized cryptographic hash of the email address is retained for up to 12 months, solely to detect repeated welcome bonus claims by the same email. No personal data is retained beyond this pseudonymized hash, which cannot be used to identify, contact, or profile any individual.
If a returning user (within the 12-month window) creates a new account using the same email previously associated with a deleted account, the welcome bonus tokens will not be granted. The user can still create the account and use all features of the Services normally.
Full details are available in our Privacy Policy, Section 13.
6. Security and Data Protection
(a) Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. If you discover any vulnerability or security breach related to your use of the Services, please notify us promptly at [email protected].
(b) Personal data processing. All processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
© Data deletion on account termination. Upon account deletion (which you can perform directly from within the application), your personal data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy, with the exception of the pseudonymized fraud prevention hash described in Section 5.
7. Term and Termination
(a) Termination by you. You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account directly from within the application or by ceasing to use the Services.
(b) Termination by MasterAi. We may terminate these Terms or suspend your access to the Services if:
- you materially breach these Terms;
- your use poses a security risk to MasterAi or any third party;
- we suspect your use is fraudulent (including welcome bonus abuse, multi-accounting, or automated abuse);
- required to comply with law or government requests;
- after providing at least 30 days’ advance notice for any other reason.
© Effect of termination. Upon termination, your access to the Services will cease and your account data will be processed as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 8, 9, and 10) will survive.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
(a) Disclaimers. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, the Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” MasterAi disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment, and any warranties arising out of any course of dealing or trade usage. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.
(b) AI output disclaimer. Without limiting Section 1, you specifically acknowledge that AI-generated content may be inaccurate, biased, or otherwise unsuitable for any specific purpose, and you assume all risks associated with relying on it.
© Limitation of liability — non-EU users. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MasterAi and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, or data. Our aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid for the Services during the 12 months before the claim arose, or (ii) one hundred euros (€100).
(d) Limitation of liability — EU consumers. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) gross negligence or willful misconduct (in compliance with Article 1229 of the Italian Civil Code, which prohibits the pre-contractual exclusion of liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct); (iii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (iv) any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable EU consumer protection law, including the Italian Consumer Code (D.Lgs. 206/2005), in particular Articles 33-37 on unfair contract terms and Articles 64-67 on consumer rights in distance contracts. For all other claims, our liability is limited as described in Section 8© above, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Dispute Resolution
(a) Informal resolution. Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us first at [email protected] with a description of the dispute and the relief you seek. We will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally within 60 days.
(b) EU consumers — courts of Italy. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you agree that any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Italian Republic, with the consumer retaining the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence pursuant to Article 18 of EU Regulation 1215/2012 (Brussels I Recast). These Terms are governed by Italian law, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of the consumer’s country of residence apply more favorably.
© EU Online Dispute Resolution. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
(d) Non-EU users — arbitration. If you are not a consumer residing in the European Union, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration, except for: (i) individual claims brought in small claims court, and (ii) injunctive or equitable relief sought by either party for unauthorized use, abuse, or intellectual property infringement. Arbitration will be conducted by a recognized alternative dispute resolution provider, by telephone, video conference, or written submissions. Class actions and class arbitration are not permitted. This Section 9(d) does not apply to EU consumers.
(e) Severability. If any part of this Section 9 is found to be unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.
10. General Terms
(a) Relationship of the parties. These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.
(b) Use of brands. You may not use MasterAi’s name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written consent.
© Intellectual property complaints. If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed, send notice to:
MasterAi S.R.L.S. Via degli Aceri 77 00172 Roma, Italy Attn: Legal / IP Email: [email protected]
(d) Assignment. You may not assign or delegate any rights or obligations under these Terms. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or corporate reorganization.
(e) Modifications. We may amend these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms in the application and on our website with the new effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the application or via the email associated with your account before the changes take effect; the notice period will be proportionate to the nature of the changes. Changes required by law or aimed at improving security or preventing abuse may take effect with shorter notice or immediately where necessary. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you may terminate your account at any time.
(f) Notices. Notices to MasterAi may be sent to [email protected] or to the registered office address indicated in Section 10©. Notices to you may be sent via the email address associated with your account or through in-app notification.
(g) Waiver and severability. A failure by MasterAi to enforce any provision is not a waiver. If any provision is held to be invalid, the remainder will remain in effect.
(h) Equitable remedies. A breach of these Terms may cause irreparable harm to MasterAi, and we may seek injunctive relief in addition to other legal remedies.
(i) Entire agreement. These Terms and any policies incorporated by reference (including the Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and MasterAi regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
(j) Governing law (non-consumers). Except as provided in Section 9 for EU consumers, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Italian Republic, excluding its conflicts of law rules. All claims will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Rome, Italy.
11. Reporting of Prohibited Content
MasterAi maintains a zero-tolerance policy for the content categories described in Section 3(d). Although the Services do not permit users to upload photographs or images of real persons (and therefore the generation of non-consensual intimate imagery of real individuals is technically not possible), MasterAi nonetheless provides clear reporting channels for any problematic content that may be generated through AI prompts.
(a) General content reporting: users, victims, and concerned third parties may report any content believed to violate Section 3(d) by emailing [email protected] with relevant details, including the approximate time of generation and a description of the content. MasterAi will acknowledge valid reports within 48 hours and take appropriate action, which may include account suspension or termination of the user responsible.
(b) Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): in the rare event that the AI generates textual content depicting minors in sexual or sexualized contexts despite the safety filters in place, such content must be immediately reported through the channel above. MasterAi will:
- preserve all relevant evidence as required by law for law enforcement purposes;
- report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline (in the United States) and to the relevant national authorities (in the European Union, the national hotlines coordinated by INHOPE; in Italy, the Polizia Postale specialized in computer crimes);
- permanently and irreversibly terminate the account of any user who deliberately generates or attempts to generate such content.
© Cooperation with law enforcement: MasterAi will cooperate fully with valid legal requests from law enforcement and judicial authorities, in accordance with applicable law and following due process.
(d) TAKE IT DOWN Act compliance: the U.S. TAKE IT DOWN Act (enacted May 2025, fully effective May 2026) primarily addresses platforms that allow the distribution of non-consensual intimate imagery of real persons. Because MasterAi does not permit image uploads or image generation of real persons, the Act’s takedown obligations are not directly applicable to typical use of the Services. However, should any covered content be reported, MasterAi will act in accordance with the spirit of the Act and remove or disable access within 48 hours of a valid notice.
(e) No retaliation against reporters: MasterAi will not take adverse action against any user who reports prohibited content in good faith.
12. Digital Services Act (EU) — Point of Contact
In compliance with EU Regulation 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act), MasterAi designates the following single point of contact for direct communication with EU authorities, the European Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services, as well as for recipients of the Services:
- Email: [email protected]
- Language for communications: English or Italian
- Postal address: MasterAi S.R.L.S., Via degli Aceri 77, 00172 Roma, Italy
EU users may submit notices regarding allegedly illegal content through this point of contact. MasterAi will process such notices in a timely and non-arbitrary manner, in accordance with Articles 14-16 of the DSA. Where MasterAi decides to remove or restrict content following a notice, the user who provided the content will be informed of the decision and of the available redress mechanisms, where required by the DSA.
13. Force Majeure
MasterAi shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms to the extent that such failure or delay is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, pandemics, labor disputes, failures of telecommunications networks or internet service providers, failures of third-party cloud infrastructure or AI providers, cyberattacks, or other circumstances of similar nature. MasterAi will use commercially reasonable efforts to mitigate the effects of any such event and to resume normal operations as soon as practicable.
